Circles in Flux

Collective exhibition V13, Metafora , Barcelona 2013

Circles in Flux is a mixed media installation that challenges the audience’s perception of reality. The installation consists of imperfect metal circles connected to an exhibition wall, which have been mapped with an image of the same circles to create an illusion. Through this installation, the audience is invited to question what they see and what they believe to be real. By intentionally creating an illusion with the visual mapping and the moving black spot, the installation emphasizes the subjective nature of perception. The imperfections in the metal circles further blur the line between reality and illusion. The audience is invited to engage with the installation by moving around the space and viewing it from different angles. The installation challenges the audience to explore their own perception of the world and how it can be influenced by their own biases and perspectives.
